What makes a good Photograph

The most important element of a good photograph is the ability of the photo to communicate with the viewer. It should be able to tell a story, by capturing the energy of the subject. Often this means avoiding the obvious shot, and instead trying to capture the moments that reflect the story of your individual experience to create something unique.
