Happy World Rhino Day! World Rhino Day was first announced by WWF- South Africa in 2010. The following year World Rhino Day grew into an international success, encompassing both African and Asian rhino species.
The theme of this year’s World Rhino Day is “Five Rhino Species Forever”. It celebrates both the African and Asian Rhino species and highlights efforts to debunk the myths and diminish the demand for rhino horn.
WWF India has been working tirelessly, over the last 5 decades to protect the Indian rhino.
