The frequent sightings of leopards in Nagorehole National Park has made it so popular that the Kabini backwaters area is now popularly known as The leopard Capital of India.
Kabini is an undisputed paradise for both Leopards and Asiatic Elephants as well as for the area’s main predator- The Tiger. Its wildlife biomass is stated to be secondary only to the legendary Serengeti in Tanzania.
