CHANDIGARH: In a move to protect black bucks, officials of the wildlife department, Haryana, are removing barbed wires from agricultural fields in Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Jind and Bhiwani. There are around 2,785 black bucks in these districts. The wires, put up by local villagers to protect their fields from cattle, have injured several black bucks, which is the state animal of Haryana.
