BENGALURU: Tourists in Hampi will soon enjoy tiger and lion safari. The safari will start in November at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Zoological Park of Hampi during Hampi Utsav.
Hampi will become third safari destination in Karnataka after Bannerghatta and Tavarekoppa of Shimoga. Two lions and two tigers will be brought from Bannerghatta and Mysuru.
The safari park will be spread around 150 hectares of forest land. Trucks for safari are being readied. Each safari truck will have 14 seats.
