NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi featured on the special episode of adventure show “Man vs Wild” with host Bear Grylls on Discovery channel and urged the world to live in harmony with the nature.
• In the show, the PM spoke about his love for the nature and highlighted the importance of preserving wildlife
• Modi braved the rain and the cold in the jungles of Jim Corbett National Park, and as the host put it, the PM was a “great sport”
In the show, Prime Minister spoke about his love for the nature and highlighted the importance of preserving wildlife, environmental conservation and climate change.
“If you fight against the nature, then it is dangerous. But if you coexist with the nature, it helps you in return and there is no sense of fear,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi said that if we take anything from the nature, we should think that kids who are born 50 years from now will ask: Why did you spoil my share of clean air?
“I am a vegetarian and I know the value of environment for animals,” PM Modi said.
At the end of the hour-long show, PM Modi told his host ” I enjoyed the time with you and the nature. I hope when people watch this special show, they would be motivated to visit India.”
“This would be good for tourism in India,” he said.
